JCAS billboards getting attention

Have you noticed our billboards around your neighbourhood?

As Emma Carp, JCAS Board member, explains: “This year, JCAS wanted to increase awareness about who we are and what we do. Many people have heard of the Posh Opp Shoppe but fewer people know these are owned and operated by JCAS and that the funds raised through the shops and by private donations go directly to support kids with special needs in Jewish day schools. So we decided to run a billboard campaign.”

For the billboard design, JCAS turned to New York-based graphic designer Benny Lemel of Wondertastic Studio.

Emma notes: “Benny designed the logos for JCAS and the Posh Opp Shoppe and he generously agreed to work with us on this campaign. Benny is a real mensch and we could not have achieved this beautiful design without his incredible skill and help.”

For the boards, JCAS approached local real estate agents who have given generous support to JCAS in the past and who were only too happy to help out again this time: a big thank you to Allard Shelton, Gary Peer and Marshall White.  And thanks also to the many people, schools, businesses and councils (Glen Eira and Stonnington) who were kind enough to host a billboard at their property.

It was a real team effort and we do hope you like the result!
