JCAS @ ”In One Voice” event

On a horribly windy and cold Sunday, the Jewish community celebrated Jewish Life and Culture in the heart of the Jewish precinct in Elsternwick at the "In One Voice" event on 16 March 2025. Hundreds of people braved the conditions to hear the school choirs and bands, mingle with stall-holders, buy hand-made arts and crafts and eat delicious food.

JCAS (Jewish Children’s Aid Society) had a presence for the first time at the festival and welcomed several people who came to say how much they loved the Posh Opp Shoppe and stayed to learn what we raise the funds for. A big shout out to Yvonne Fayman who made it all happen and to our committee Sharon Goodhardt, Rosalie Silverstein, Menucha Cooper, Justin Graham, Michael Karp, Richard Kennett who volunteered to help on the day and explain what we do and why.
