Posh Opp Shoppe returns war hero’s medals to family

In emotional scenes in Adelaide on Anzac Day this year, Posh Opp Shoppe manager Jason Silverstein returned 7 missing war medals awarded to Warrant Officer Kenneth Peters to his grateful descendants.

The medals had been donated to the Posh Opp Shoppe but Jason and the team recognised that the medals would have been important to the recipient and his family. After a year-long search involving the RSL, the medals were returned to Warrant Officer Peters’ family in fitting recognition of his service as a war hero.

Well done Jason, Rosalie and whole team at the Posh Opp Shoppe!
